1 AI Notice

ComplianceStack uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate compliance-related content. You acknowledge and agree that:

• All outputs, including reports, checklists, gap analyses, remediation plans, evidence packages, health reports, and any other deliverables, are AI-generated
• AI-generated content is produced automatically by machine learning models and has not been reviewed, verified, or approved by a licensed attorney, compliance professional, auditor, or subject matter expert
• AI outputs reflect the model's training data, which may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate with respect to your specific circumstances
• AI outputs may contain "hallucinations" — confident-sounding statements that are factually incorrect
• The same AI prompt may produce different outputs at different times; outputs are not deterministic

The use of the word "compliance" in our product name and outputs describes the subject matter we cover (compliance frameworks), not a guarantee that any output makes your organization compliant with any regulation.

ComplianceStack outputs expressly do not constitute any of the following forms of professional advice or service. Each domain requires licensed professionals who create legally protected relationships and privileges that AI cannot replicate:

3 User Responsibility & Verification Obligation

By using ComplianceStack, you expressly acknowledge and accept the following responsibilities:

• Independent Verification: You are solely responsible for independently verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it for any business, legal, regulatory, financial, or operational decision.
• Professional Consultation: You are responsible for consulting appropriately licensed professionals before implementing any compliance measures based on AI outputs.
• Accuracy of Inputs: You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you submit to the Service. AI outputs are only as reliable as the inputs provided.
• No Sole Reliance: AI outputs must not be used as the sole basis for any compliance decision. You must exercise your own independent judgment.
• Currency Check: You are responsible for verifying that regulatory citations, statute references, and compliance thresholds are current as of the date of your review, not the date of AI output generation.
• Jurisdiction Check: You are responsible for determining whether any AI-generated guidance is applicable in your specific jurisdiction, industry, and organizational context.

Your obligation to verify AI outputs exists regardless of how specific, detailed, or authoritative they may appear. The apparent confidence of an AI output is not an indicator of its accuracy.

5 What ComplianceStack AI Can and Cannot Do

Known Limitations of AI-Generated Compliance Content

• Hallucination Risk: AI models can generate confident-sounding but factually incorrect information. Regulatory citations, statute numbers, compliance thresholds, and legal requirements must always be independently verified against official primary sources.
• Training Cutoff: AI models have training data cutoffs. Content may not reflect recent regulatory changes, new enforcement guidance, recent court decisions, or updated agency positions.
• Generality: AI outputs are general by nature. Your organization's specific circumstances, industry, geography, size, and risk profile require individualized professional assessment.
• No Enforcement Context: AI does not have access to current enforcement trends, agency no-action letters, consent decrees, or informal agency positions that may materially affect compliance obligations.
• No Privilege: AI-generated content does not carry attorney-client privilege, work product protection, or any other legal privilege. Content may be discoverable.
• Regulatory Complexity: Compliance requirements frequently intersect across multiple regulatory frameworks and jurisdictions. AI may not capture all applicable requirements.

6 Standard Output Notice

Every ComplianceStack AI output carries the following disclaimer, which forms part of the deliverable:

This notice is a material part of every deliverable. Removing, obscuring, or omitting this notice from any output is a violation of your license to use ComplianceStack AI outputs and your agreement with Steeled Inc.

7 Limitation of Liability

The foregoing limitations are a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain between you and Steeled Inc. Steeled Inc. would not be able to provide the Service at the current price points without these limitations.

8 Human Professional Review Required

Before implementing any compliance program, policy, procedure, control, or measure based on ComplianceStack AI outputs, you must obtain review and approval from a qualified licensed professional. This is not optional.

The appropriate professional will depend on the domain:

• Legal/Regulatory matters: Licensed attorney with relevant expertise
• Financial/Accounting compliance: CPA, external auditor, or financial compliance specialist
• HIPAA/Healthcare: Healthcare attorney, HIPAA compliance officer, or licensed healthcare consultant
• Immigration: Licensed immigration attorney or accredited representative
• OSHA/Workplace Safety: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), industrial hygienist, or OSHA-authorized trainer
• Customs/Trade: Licensed customs broker or trade compliance attorney
• Tax: CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney
• SOX/Securities: Registered public accounting firm or securities attorney
• Insurance: Licensed insurance professional or insurance coverage attorney

The complexity and risk of your specific compliance situation should determine the depth of professional review required. For organizations facing regulatory investigations, audits, or enforcement actions, professional engagement is mandatory — do not rely on AI outputs in these circumstances.

9 Data Accuracy & Currency Warning

Regulatory requirements change frequently. AI training data has cutoffs and may not incorporate:

• Recent statutory amendments or new regulations enacted after the training cutoff
• New or updated regulatory guidance, FAQs, and interpretive letters from agencies
• Recent enforcement actions, consent decrees, or agency settlement positions
• Court decisions affecting regulatory interpretation
• Changes in enforcement priorities or agency policy
• State-specific variations that have been enacted or amended recently

You are solely responsible for verifying that any regulatory information in AI outputs is current and applicable at the time you use it. Never assume that AI-generated regulatory citations are accurate, current, or correctly interpreted. Always verify against official primary sources (agency websites, Federal Register, official state law databases, or counsel).

10 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Steeled Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, fines, penalties, enforcement costs, regulatory sanctions, judgments, awards, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your reliance on AI-generated content for compliance, legal, regulatory, financial, medical, tax, immigration, construction, insurance, or other professional decisions
• Your failure to obtain independent professional review before implementing compliance measures
• Regulatory violations, penalties, or fines resulting from your use of AI outputs
• Your misrepresentation of AI outputs as professional opinions, legal advice, or compliance certifications
• Any third-party claims arising from your use of AI outputs in your business operations
• Your removal or omission of required disclaimer notices from AI outputs

11 Regulatory Status of Steeled Inc.

Steeled Inc. is a technology company. We are not, and do not hold ourselves out as, any of the following:

• A law firm or legal services provider (not authorized to practice law)
• A licensed compliance consulting firm
• A registered public accounting firm or CPA firm (not authorized to conduct audits)
• A HIPAA Business Associate as defined under 45 CFR §164.502(e)
• A licensed healthcare provider or healthcare consultant
• A registered investment adviser (RIA) under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
• A broker-dealer registered with FINRA or the SEC
• A licensed customs broker under 19 U.S.C. § 1641
• A recognized immigration consultant or accredited representative
• An OSHA-certified safety organization
• A licensed insurance company, agent, or broker

Steeled Inc. is incorporated in Delaware and operates from San Diego, California. Our technology platform is not licensed, regulated, or supervised by any professional licensing board, securities regulator, healthcare authority, or other professional oversight body as a professional services firm.

12 International Users

ComplianceStack is developed and maintained in the United States. AI outputs are primarily trained on U.S. regulatory frameworks and may not accurately reflect regulations in other countries, regions, or jurisdictions.

If you are using ComplianceStack from outside the United States:

• AI outputs may not reflect the specific regulatory requirements of your jurisdiction
• Compliance requirements, enforcement standards, and professional licensing requirements vary significantly by country
• References to U.S. regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, SOX, OSHA, etc.) may not translate directly to equivalent requirements in your jurisdiction
• You must independently verify the applicability of any AI output to your local regulatory environment
• Local professional consultation is particularly important for international users

Steeled Inc. makes no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in any particular location. You access and use the Service from your jurisdiction at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

Severability

If any provision of this AI Disclaimer is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

This AI Disclaimer, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Steeled Inc. regarding the limitations and scope of AI-generated content from the ComplianceStack service. This AI Disclaimer is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
